If you die without a Will your estate passes under the rules of intestacy which may not reflect your wishes at all. Your assets may not go to the people you choose, guardians cannot be appointed for minor children and funeral wishes cannot be formally recorded. An unmarried partner receives nothing regardless of how long you have been together. Without a Will the law decides, not you. A Will ensures your wishes are legally protected and your family is properly provided for.
A Standard Single Will costs £195 and Mirror Wills for couples cost £325. All prices include VAT, drafting, vetting and all legal checks, National Will Registration and secure safekeeping for the first 12 months. No hidden fees, what you see is exactly what you pay.
Yes. All consultations are conducted online, by phone or face to face depending on your location, so you can arrange your Will from the comfort of your own home, with no need to travel to an office.
Most Wills are drafted and ready for signing within 14 to 21 working days of your consultation. An express service is available if you need your documents more urgently, please ask during your consultation.
Yes. If you need your Will more urgently an express service is available for £80 as an add-on to any Will. Your documents are prioritised and completed sooner. Please ask during your free consultation and we will confirm the timeframe.

If you are living with your partner but are not married or in a civil partnership you have very little automatic legal protection in England and Wales. Many people believe that living together for a number of years gives them the same rights as a married couple, this is a myth. Common law marriage does not exist in UK law. Without a cohabitation agreement your partner could have no legal right to your property, assets or finances if you separate or if you die. A cohabitation agreement sets out clearly how you share everything, and what happens if your relationship ends. Swift Legacy can arrange a professionally drafted cohabitation agreement from just £375 all inclusive.
Yes. Without a Will your estate passes under intestacy rules which may not reflect your wishes at all. A Will also appoints guardians for minor children, records funeral wishes and ensures your assets go to the people you choose, regardless of your age or the size of your estate.
If you already have a Will, whether written by a solicitor, another provider, or done yourself, a Will Check & Review is where we examine it against your current circumstances and wishes. Life changes, so does your Will's suitability. We flag anything outdated or unclear and confirm whether it still reflects what you want. The £49 fee is deducted if you go on to instruct further work within 30 days.
If you already have a Lasting Power of Attorney, drafted by a solicitor, another provider, or done yourself, we check it was drafted correctly, that it remains legally valid, and, most importantly, whether it has actually been registered with the Office of the Public Guardian. An unregistered LPA has no legal effect, so this is often the most valuable thing to check. The £49 fee is deducted if you instruct a new LPA with us.
If you are not sure whether you need a Will, a Trust, or an LPA, an Estate Plan Report is a starting point. We assess your family situation, assets and wishes, then recommend the right option for you, presented clearly at your consultation. It costs £150 for an individual or £225 for couples, and the fee is deducted from your recommended service if you instruct within 30 days.
